Discovering God Together on the South Shore of Nova Scotia

Vacation Bible School & Tidal Impact Review

Vacation Bible School

It took a lot of planning, a lot of praying, and a lot of cooking – but we made it. We had a great time with Douglas Baptist who helped with our Vacation Bible School. We hosted it at our church and also had a backyard Bible club running at the same time in Bridgewater.

Here is a video of some pictures.

The typical day began with music!

There were Bible stories!
Crafts!
Games!
Food – and crazy things even happened while we ate!
Our missions project!

We wanted to send children to school in Kenya. Two of our leaders recently returned from a trip there and we collected money to help with that project. The problem was that we had help taking up our offering from a grumpy truck driver. He thought the money was going to go fix up his truck. His “girlfriend” showed up the last day and straightened him out.

Celebrate

We can certainly celebrate what God did. That was the theme of Vacation Bible School. Here is a video of the theme song that sums up everything.
